This course introduces learners to the practical use of generative AI and how it can support both work and everyday life. Participants will gain a basic understanding of how generative AI works, how it differs from traditional software, and the common AI tools available today.

Through hands-on activities, learners will explore how tools such as ChatGPT can assist with job-seeking and workplace tasks, including drafting professional emails, improving resumes, preparing reports and creating clear summaries.

The course also looks beyond employment, showing how AI can be used for everyday activities such as travel planning, generating ideas and creating visuals from text.

With guided exercises and group presentations, participants will have opportunities to practise using AI in realistic situations and build the confidence to apply these tools responsibly in their own work and daily lives.
