This reports on the results from a survey done in early 2013 where TAFEP did an online survey which 103 people in HR departments or management from various companies and organisations responded.
98% of employers value the knowledge and skills of mature workers, 86% of employers thinks mature workers possess higher loyalty and commitment and 84% also agrees that they have stronger work ethics. “The Value of Mature Workers to Organisations in Singapore” seeks to examine the attitudes towards mature workers and the return on investment that mature workers bring.
